Her advice and editing skills turned my haphazard idea into a real book proposal, one that attracted the attention of an agent she knew and with whom I signed. That led to multiple offers and eventually to a contract with McGraw-Hill. As an author herself, Wendy knows the book world cover to cover. I would recommend her to anyone seeking assistance in getting their own books published.”</image:title>

      <image:title>Splitopia - SPLITOPIA</image:title>
<image:caption>When my husband and I announced our intention to split in 2012, I was surprised by the doom-and-gloom forecasts of some friends. We believed we could part amicably, and be good co-parents, but our friends were unconvinced. Why? Why were they so negative about the possibility of a "good" divorce? I set out to discover the truth. The results of my research and of my own experience are in Splitopia. Splitopia shares my story as well as insights from family law reform and positive psychology experts and former couples and adult children of divorce living successful, happy lives. Part memoir, part journalism, part history of marriage, Splitopia looks at how changes in laws and customs over the past 40 years have greatly improved divorce for many, as have women’s increased earning power, advances in psychology and technology, and a greater understanding of child development and the importance of fathers. It challenges the assumption that all happy families must look alike. Splitopia was translated into Hungarian and has been written about or excerpted in The New York Times, Washington Post, The Globe and Mail, Marie Claire, Houston Chronicle, Salon.com, Kveller.com, PsychCentral.com and Family Law Quarterly, and featured on podcasts, television and radio shows nationwide.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The Fairy-Tale Formula for Lasting Love Cinderella doesn’t hide inside her pumpkin carriage, crying, “No one attends a party alone! Everyone will think I’m a loser!” She throws her shoulders back, lifts her chin and marches in the door. What can we learn from fairy tales? That even if “cinder maid” is your job title, it doesn’t define your entire existence. Happily Ever After: The Fairy Tale Formula for Lasting Love offers an encouraging look at the noble and brave behavior of the heroines of ten classic fairy tales. Before Disney created the current Pantheon of Princesses, the original ladies in waiting like Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Thumbellina relied on their intelligence, patience and self-knowledge to land the man, and the life, of their dreams.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Use Your Purchasing Power to Make the World a Better Place Equal parts travelogue, buying guide and call for more supply chain transparency in fashion and apparel, this inspirational, uplifting book follows Jane Mosbacher Morris's journey from the U.S. Department of State, where she worked on counter-terrorism and anti-human trafficking, to her decision to start a fashion company to connect impoverished artisans with consumers and Fortune 500s here, helping to harness the power of private enterprise to overcome longstanding social injustices. The book travels from Washington D.C. to India, from the glittering aisles of Macy's Herald Square to Haiti, and from the Northwest Chocolate Festival in Seattle and a trendy coffee bar in Austin to coffee and cacao farms high in the hills of Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. Covering topics from why not all factories are evil, to how our morning coffee can be the easiest way for us to use our purchasing power for good, Buy the Change You Want to See sheds light on why some aid programs miss the mark, and how being better informed consumers can truly help make change.</image:caption>
